Overview
AI is now embedded in everyday business decisions, but few organizations have a structured
way to govern it. That gap creates real exposure, from unmanaged bias and safety risks to
failing new regulatory requirements before they even realize they apply. This course closes
that gap, giving you a working understanding of AI risk, governance structure, and how
organizations monitor AI responsibly, all grounded in ISO 42001, the world’s first international AI management standard.
The urgency isn’t theoretical. In the Philippines, regulators and industry bodies are actively
pushing organizations toward structured AI governance as adoption accelerates. Regionally,
Vietnam’s new AI Law takes effect March 2026, sorting every AI system into a risk tier with
real obligations attached, and Malaysia’s own AI Governance Bill is moving through
consultation with a similar risk based approach. As regulation moves faster than most
companies can adapt, this course positions you to speak the language of AI governance early,
and sets you up to progress into the hands on Implementer track.

This course is designed for professionals who oversee, manage, or support AI use in their organization, including AI and data governance teams, risk and compliance officers, IT and security managers, quality and process managers, and legal and regulatory professionals.
There are no formal prerequisites. Participants only need a laptop with a working camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and access to Google Forms or MS Forms for practice exams.
Participants will gain a working understanding of ISO 42001, including its structure, AI risk management, Annex A controls, AI system impact assessment, and performance monitoring for continual improvement.
